Don’t tap if you’re not ready!
If you are not quite ready yet, don’t tap or it will set the obstacles up and you won’t be able to stop the ball from going. Wait until you are ready before star
Practice makes perfect!
The game mechanics are easy to learn, but it’s quite difficult to stay in the game for a long time. Try making the ball bounce and roll in one full minute, without falling off or crashing against a wall and you’ll earn our R-E-S-P-E-C-T! The more you play, the more you get used to it and learn how to time your taps.
Relax and don’t hurry!
The more you get anxious, the more likely you will end up tapping unnecessarily, which could cause your ball to crash or overshoot a ledge or gap. A single tap is usually enough to jump over gaps, but make sure that you do it on the edge. If you don’t think you’ll make it with just one tap, then quickly tap twice! If you’re jumping from an edge to a taller platform, then quickly tap twice at the last minute to make the jump.
Don’t be greedy!
Want to look good? Then run after gems, if not then don’t even attempt to get them. Most of these baubles are just there for you to make mistakes. Some are placed at really impossible spots and going after them is obviously suicidal. It is much more important to stay in the game way longer than your last awesome run. Beating a high score can even earn you gems—and bragging rights! Besides, you can easily change your ball’s appearance over time, just play continuously and earn regular currency.
Roll when there are no gaps and uneven platforms!
When you have a long, flat surface to roll on, just let the ball go on its own without jumping, you’ll find it much safer and easier to keep on its track than to tap incessantly. Also when the terrain is generally downwards and without gaps, just let the ball roll naturally. Remember, more taps = more potential mistakes. And don’t be too adventurous, it won’t help you at the trickiest of places, especially where there are overhangs and narrow spaces to pass through. That double-tap move is swell, but only when it’s needed. Otherwise, it could be the death of you.
