Reload: The Z Team Hack, Cheats, Tips and Guide

Reload: The Z Team is your standard zombie apocalypse game. It has elements of being a stable shooter with elements of being a lane defense. You basically have characters on the left side shooting down the hordes of zombies coming in from the right. Make sure to build up a nice party of survivors to take on the invasion. In order to help you with your defense you can use our Reload: The Z Team hacks, cheats, tips and guide.

Reload: The Z Team is available on iOS.

The magic of reload

The gameplay of Reload: The Z Team is very straight forward. You simply tap on the zombies on the right to shoot them down. You will also see the reload button on the left side. That reload button will be your best friend as you need to be reloading most of the time. Never let your finger be far away from that reload button. Be fast to tap on the enemies as well as the reload button. When there aren’t any zombies for the time being, then reload. Have two of your fingers when you play the game to make it easier to attack and reload.

Upgrade always

The levels are divided by days and in each day you get to mow down a number of zombies. When you mow down zombies you get coins. If you successfully complete a day, you will then have the option to continue. However before you continue you need to upgrade with the use of your coins. Upgrade your characters and whatever because the coins will not be carried over the next the day. If you can’t use all of them then make sure you don’t have too much left.

What to upgrade

The only thing you can upgrade in Reload: The Z Team are your survivors. In terms of upgrade you basically just make them stronger in a sense. Going back to the coins that can’t be carried over, upgrade a character that you feel will be very useful. Now granted every time that you upgrade a character, the next level will need more coins. If you lack more coins for further upgrades then it is better for you to upgrade another character when you can afford them.

Collect survivors

When you play the main game, you get to unlock more characters. These characters or survivors will have their set of abilities and weapons that they can use. You can use a number of characters in each wave so be sure to collect a lot of them. We go back to upgrading the survivors, each of them have different abilities so every time you upgrade one of them, they can get better and their abilities also improve. Try to experiment a bit and see which combinations can work when it comes to making a good team of survivors. While there are a ton of survivors to use and improve, try to focus on using specific characters for the time being before you branch out.

  1. Leaving a few tips here since i have not found a ton around the web…

My first suggestion – Play the game for a while with the intent that you are just “sampling” everything. So this is your time to upgrade tons of characters while you figure out who you like the best. Once you kind of target the team you want to play with, only spend your valuable points upgrading those people.

Also find synergy in your team. For example, for me, i focused on shotguns and explosives. So my team consists of 4 shotgun people, and 3 of my team have the exploding bullets perk (huge ability in the later rounds). My van focuses on shotguns (there are 2 shotgun perks for the van – nbr bullets and damage %) and explosive damage.

I’m not sure if it was just my leader choice, but i use Grandma, and i find that she has spurts where my gunshots don’t “cost” bullets (basically, i can shoot 40 times without reloading on a gun that has 8 bullet clip). I don’t know if it’s a hidden ability on Grandma only (i haven’t played many other chars, so maybe it works for others) or if it’s a bug, but that hidden ability is HUGE for me!

Be selective about your van perks!! There are 10 of them (from memory), but every slot is valuable!! Be sure to get the overall prestige van perk as well as the boss prestige van perk. There is another where the leader does +X% damage (which is huge – the rest of your team does minimal damage next to a human clicking like crazy). SPEND YOUR GEMS ON YOUR VAN!! When you get a van upgrade that doesn’t excite you, spend the 100 gems to remove it!! i know it sounds painful, but you don’t want to get stuck with perks that aren’t aligned to your overall team (e.g. for me, i deleted anything about a gun type that wasn’t shotgun, i don’t like the reload speed perk (there’s better ones out there than that one)). OMG, i almost forgot one of the best ones too – it decreases the cooldown of your special abilities by x seconds when you do a critical hit! So instead of waiting 20 minutes for an ability to be ready, on my game, i can actually have the skill reset half way through the level (from a full cooldown counter!).

Finally, when you’re doing prestige runs, include the wizard and football guy in your party. And in the beginning, be sure to invest as MUCH as you can into those 2 guys’ prestige perk (2% sounds small, but after you upgrade a few times on both chars, it’s a HUGE increase). Plus over time, you’ll be playing for days just to save up for 1 upgrade (my biggest upgrade amount is 1.3 mill and my smallest is actually 200k).

Be sure to use (cough-abuse-cough) the auto feature! When you aren’t using your phone, set your prestige team (which may be different than the team you use to stretch your highest level amount) out there and use Auto+ (which also moves you to the next level automatically – and spends your coins for you). It drives my gf crazy that i leave my game running so much unattended getting me “free” prestige… 😀
